Rivalry continues Friday

The Bearcats volleyball teams resume action this Friday, January 15 when they travel across town to take on the UFV Cascades.

The CBC women (5-4) currently sit in 5th place in league standings while the Casacades (5-2) are in 4th place.  The first time these two teams met on October 31 the 'Cats trailed two sets to one but battled back to win by scores 25-20, 23-25, 29-31, 25-22, 15-12.

On the men's side, expect this to be a closely contested match.  CBC (3rd place) resumes league play with a 6-3 league record, while the Cascades (5th place), are winners of four straight matches after starting the season 0-3.  On October 31, the CBC men overcame a 2-0 set deficit to win the final three sets.  Scores of the match were 22-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-20, 16-14.

Game time is 6:00 & 7:45pm at UFV.
