Mariners take down 'Cats


Both CBC volleyball teams were defeated by the visiting Mariners on Saturday.

The women, who defeated the Mariners 3-0 on Friday, were downed by the same score on Saturday, 25-15, 25-17, 25-19.

On the men's side, the 'Cats scrambled back from a 2-1 set deficit but lost in the fifth to lose their second consecutive match to the Mariners in five sets.  Scores of the match were 30-28, 25-22, 20-25, 26-28, 15-13 in favour of the Mariners.

CBC is in action this weekend at Douglas College.
