Denguessi Athlete of the Week

CBC men's volleyball player Emmanuel Denguessi was named BCCAA athlete of the week for his performance last weekend.

In Friday night’s 3-0 loss, Denguessi tallied 2 kills and 4 digs. In Saturday`s re-match, he accumulated 19 kills, 1 block, 1 ace and made numerous spectacular digs to lead his team to victory.  His emotion and leadership played a significant role in helping his team to victory against a solid Douglas squad, splitting the weekend matches.

Denguessi is in his first year at CBC but second year of eligibility. Prior to living in Canada, Denguessi played for the Cameroon National Volleyball Team. He then came to Canada and played at Capilano in 2007-08 season winning the BCCAA rookie of the year.
